Wholesome Banana Bread
This Paleo bread is a savoury improvement on the traditional, favouring the natural flavours of the bananas.
Using a combination of almond and coconut flour, this fragrant bread has a wonderful firmness and will suit most palates. It is delicious hot or cold, with butter or without.
- 2 Ripe Bananas (mashed)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
In one bowl mix the mashed bananas with the coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla essence.
In another, mix the flours, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon
Slowly begin stirring in the dry mixture to the banana mixture.
Pour into an oiled baking tray and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Turn out on your best plate and enjoy!
